It is a mid flat in a late 19th century building in the middle of the quiet conservation village of Darnick, just over a mile from Melrose. The flat has been recently renovated and re-decorated, has a lot of natural light and looks out over the hills and the village's medieval towers. It has its own secluded garden and plenty of storage space for bicycles, golf clubs or fishing gear. Melrose, with its historic abbey, excellent speciality shops and good restaurants is 10 - 15 minutes walk away along well-lit pavements. This is a perfect base for an active or relaxing holiday whether you want to fish, walk, play golf , visit the many historic sites in the Scottish Borders - or simply chill. |
